2019 el Muvazene beyne şiiri- tayiyen) adlı kitabın teşbih ve istiare kriterleri

Undoubetdly, in the rhetoric, a close relation exists between criticism and rhetoric. In other words, the rhetoric originated originally from the criticism in the form of simple critical rules, and then, these rules have developed to become a science with its standards and rules. Based on this overlap between criticism and rhetoric, this study explores one of the greatest and most important book in its history titled "The Comparison between Taeyeens" by Amadi (370 AH). This latter is a critical book whose writer attempted to compare between two great poets due to the wide dispute and argument of the critics towards these poets. One group supports one poet, whereas the other group advocates the other poet. Hence, Al-Amadi tried to be fair adopting a neutral position in order to show the characteristics of each poet and discuss the poetry of each poet objectively. This study is based on examining the rhetorical principles which were adopted by the classifier as criteria to follow in stating his judgement. However, due to the large area of these rhetorical principles and their wide variety, this study focused only on two aspects of the rhetoric, namely simile and metaphor. Consequently, AlAmedi approach depended on these aspects when analyzing the poetry of both AlAmedi and AlBuhturi as well as the criteria he adopted in judging on the two poets in either refuting or accepting in order to identify who is better than the .other It seems clear that AlAmedi assesses the simile and metaphor based on objective regulations that require a kind of suitability between the two sides of the simile or the metaphor and follows the way of the old critics in choosing the appropriate diction and structures as well as the expressive structures avoiding .exaggeration
